About Lucy.

Loice is a financial inclusion guru and gender specialist with over 10 years experience in social research, currently a project manager at HOPAWI Management Consulting limited. She has Master of Arts in population studies from The University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Daystar University.


She is a dynamic and results oriented research manager for both quantitative and qualitative research designs and has experience in managing entire research cycle, she has a keen eye on the quality of data to always give a true reflection of the topic under study. She is a passionate social researcher with focus on delivering impact result having worked for NGOs and research firms that have changed the lives of minority and underserved populations especially women. She has successfully managed projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Benin, Liberia, Senegal and Ghana mainly on financial inclusion, gender, women economic empowerment, reproductive health and smallholder farmers topics.


Loice is talented in managing field work ensuring smooth running of the phase, from selection and training interviewer teams, overseeing data collection to the completion on time and on budget, at the same time I have developed training manuals and trained quality control teams who work together with the data collection team in ensuring parallel checks during field work. This is attributed to her excellence in management skills, diligence and dedication to her work. She has also participated in writing reports, blogs white papers and have presented in different events to disseminate the research findings.
